Weekend in New Orleans Part 3

Thursday, August 11, 2016

During our last day in New Orleans, we went to The Pharmacy Museum. It was very interesting!

Our next stop was the World War II Museum. We got there late in the afternoon, so we didn't have time to see everything, but we covered the highlights. Seeing the museum pique our interest in learning more, so after returning home, we watched Ken Burns The War.

The Victory Garden was tucked away, and I think other visitors missed it. I found it fascinating!

Before driving home, we had a few hours to spend in the city, so we went on a carriage ride. I always wanted to do this!

Antoine's New Orleans
We had brunch at Antoine's, the oldest family owned restaurant in the US.
