Souvenirs from our road trip

Thursday, April 7, 2016

I'm always curious what people chose to bring back from their trips. Starting when I was in college, I buy a Christmas ornament every place I travel. Christmas ornaments are always easy to find (except when I went to Korea, I didn't find any) and inexpensive, so I think it's a great way to remember a trip. Here are the ornaments we picked up on our road trip:

Top left, going clockwise: San Francisco, Sequoia, Petrified Forest, Yosemite, Joshua Tree, Hearst Castle, Highway 1. I also got a glass ornament at the Grand Canyon, but I guess I forgot to take a picture.

Starting on our honeymoon, we try to pick up a small piece of art on our trips. We bought several pieces of this trip, and they are all hanging in our guest room. Our favorites are the vintage style park poster (below). You can buy these from Ranger Doug.
