We left Napa Valley and drove to Sonoma Coast State Park. We reached our campground, Wright's Beach, in the afternoon just in time for some beach time. Finn's favorite place in the entire world is the beach, especially when the weather is cool. We were here May 20-21, and it was extremely cold!
Here we are at our camping spot with the VW van that we rented for our 9 days in California. Finn was cooperating with posing for photos because he knew how close the beach was.
All the photos in this post were taken by Sam with his film camera.
Finally at the beach!
Sam didn't mean to have a double exposure, but he thought it looked cool.
After a bit of playtime, we went back to our campground because we were freezing!
The next morning, I slept in and Finn and Sam went to the beach for playtime. Since it was early in the morning, no one else was on the beach so Finn got to run around without a leash.
Finn clearly enjoyed himself.
After I woke up, we packed up to drive down the Sonoma Coast.
