Cross Country Roadtrip: Point Reyes

Thursday, January 21, 2016

This post is part of a series about our Cross Country Roadtrip. To see all the previous posts, click here.

We left Wright's Beach in the morning and drove down Highway 1 and the Sonoma Coast to Olema Campground. We weren't in a hurry to get to the campground, so we decided to stop anyplace that looked interesting. We drove into the town of Point Reyes Station, which had a very quaint mainstreet, so we stopped for breakfast at Station House Cafe. After breakfast we thought it would be fun to drive to the Point Reyes Lighthouse.

We walked about 1/2 mile (I think) to get to the lighthouse, and we saw a family of deer.

The views were beautiful walking out to the lighthouse!

After visiting the lighthouse, we drove back into the town of Point Reyes and ate lunch at Osteria Stellina. We did some shopping and then drove to our campground for the night.

This was Finn's spot for the entire trip-my lap.
