St Louis Botanical Gardens

Tuesday, August 5, 2014

For Easter we went to St Louis and toured the Botanical Gardens. The tulips were in full bloom. It was a perfect time to visit the Gardens.

I went inside the Shaw House (built in 1849) and I just loved the carpet and wallpaper inside!

This was in the Victorian Gardens

All of us at the gardens

After the gardens, we came back to Sam's grandmother's nursing home and hung out in the sunroom. I had asking Sam's family to help me make paper flowers, and his family threw us a small paper shower to celebrate the wedding. Sam's mom got us these cookies, which were so cute and tasted great!

On Easter Sunday we went to church with Sam's family.

After church we came back to the nursing home and had a family lunch in the dining room.

These finger puppets were in Easter crackers that Sam's aunt brought.

Flowers we made while in St Louis.
