Stephanie and Taylor met in Kaiserslautern, Germany. Stephanie was in Germany for a year going to school, and Taylor was stationed in Germany. Stephanie came back to the States in August, and Taylor was planning Leave in November. They decided to get married while Taylor was in the States on Leave, so they quickly pulled together a wedding. The whole thing was planned in 3 weeks!
Megan and I were bridesmaids, and we got our dresses from Modcloth
Finnegan was the ring bearer. He was so cute!
The flower girl was too shy to walk by herself, so they all walked together.
The ceremony took place in Big Spring Park.
Aunt Suzanne read from 1 Corinthians and Song of Solomon
There were about 35 people in attendance.
Stephanie and Taylor wrote their own vows.
Mama read EE Cummings "I Carry Your Heart"
Sam took the photos at the ceremony and I took the photos at the reception.
I made apple pie and pumpkin pie for the reception. I also made this pie topper, which I plan to reuse for my wedding.
I purchased this garland from BHLDN for my wedding, and let Stephanie use it for her wedding.
Mama made pulled pork and Daddy made brisket for the reception. They purchased the sides at Sam's Club.
I made the Menu sign and the signage for the desserts.
I printed these photos off Facebook to make garlands.
Megan and I made the purple garlands.
Megan gave Stephanie and Taylor this map of Germany as a wedding present. The heart is over Kaiserslautern where they met.
