Dining Room Chair Update

Monday, May 5, 2014

These were the dining chairs I had in my old apartment. This is the before picture. They actually didn't look this ugly in my apartment. They were painted a green-grey and upholstered in a grey fabric.

Here are the chairs in my old apartment. These chairs came with me when Sam and I moved into our apartment, but Sam didn't actually like them. He thought the back was uncomfortable. The back is a bit low, which is perfectly comfortable for a person who is 5 feet tall, but Sam is 6'3" so he wanted new chairs.

I love any excuse to buy new furniture, so I quickly found new chairs. The chair had recently been re-done by someone else, but they weren't our style. We (mostly Sam) sanded and primed them. We worked on this project in the Winter, so it took us several weeks before we were able to paint them.

For Christmas I got a paint sprayer, and this was the first time we used it. This is the one I got.

All done! I'm very happy with how the chairs turned out, and they're much more our style now.
