I'm currently in Greece on my honeymoon! In the meantime, I have a series of travel posts scheduled until I return.

For my birthday weekend in June 2013, we drove to Chattanooga. We stayed on board the Delta Queen steam boat. The boat was a little worn and could use some renovating, but I think it's a fun experience for couples who have a sense of adventure.

We walked around downtown and saw this in the concrete.

While we were walking around, we saw this restaurant, which Sam was VERY excited about so we grabbed dinner here.

The view from our room

Point Park Lookout Mountain Battlefield. Sam and his dad do Civil War reenacting, so Sam was interested in seeing the battlefield and going to the museum.

The battlefield felt very park-like

We walked around Coolidge Park

Coolidge Park had beautiful views

After all that walking, it was time for a snack in Bluff View Arts District

walking around the Art District

Sam really missed Finnegan :(

I thought this sculpture (in front of the art museum) was made out of driftwood, but it's actually made of bronze!
